About the role
As Field Worker (Roads and Drainage) you will be part of the roads and drainage district team who are responsible for maintenance of council infrastructure. Your main focus will be to undertake general maintenance across roads, easements and drainage channels to help our community move easily around the city.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertake detailed maintenance of roads and drainage
- Operate plant and equipment
- Participate in planning, hazard identification and risk assessment of work activities
- Work as a team and provide feedback to the team, council officers and customers

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Drivers Licence (highly desired)
- Experience in civil construction (highly desired)
- A focus on proudly enhancing the quality life for the community

This is a full-time position with a salary starting at $64,809 plus 12.5% superannuation.
