As our Human Resources Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we attract, onboard, and support the best talent in hospitality. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys building strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support end-to-end recruitment processes for casual and permanent hospitality staff

Prepare and post job advertisements, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and assist with onboarding

Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and databases

Provide support and advice to staff regarding employment terms, company policies, and workplace concerns

Assist in performance management, incident reporting, and disciplinary procedures

Ensure compliance with workplace legislation, industry awards, and company policies

Collaborate with operations and rostering teams to forecast and fulfil staffing needs

Contribute to HR process improvement and documentation updates

Skills and Experience:

Previous experience (1-2 years minimum) in a Human Resources role

Tertiary qualification in Business or HR Management

Sound knowledge of Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards (especially the Hospitality Award), and HR best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and time management abilities

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
