What You’ll Do

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customers within a territory to achieve annual targets and developing a pipeline of new customers to win new rooftops. Your time will be split 40% growing existing business, 40% on winning new business, and 20% on operational tasks.

You will work in a hybrid capacity, based the majority of the time in our Scoresby office, alongside our Customer Care team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building customer satisfaction through growing their business and ensuring operational issues are effectively dealt with

Achieving call frequency targets

Ensuring core range distribution is achieved and monitored

Ensuring joint business plans are in place and regularly reviewed with key customers

Achieving sell-in targets for new launches supported by a plan of how you will achieve this

Supporting field merchandising excellence with feedback and coaching

Ensuring your customers are receiving appropriate levels and frequency of orders across all product formats

Developing and maintaining a new business targets opportunities funnel

The successful candidate will display strong relationship-building skills and the ability to leverage that relationship for the mutual benefit of Hallmark and our customers.

You will highest levels of professionalism at all times and live our values by demonstrating responsibility, integrity, candour and curiosity to develop trustworthy and reliable partnerships.

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

Previous field sales or inside sales experience (essential)

Selling and negotiation skills (essential)

New business experience (preferred)

Knowledge of field merchandising (preferred)

Experience using CRM platforms

Excellent phone-based communication and interpersonal skills
