About the Opportunity

Hatchit Studios is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to support a major transformation program within a federal government agency. This role is critical to delivering scalable, enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions that align with organisational objectives and regulatory reform initiatives.

As the senior architect, you will shape the strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform, lead the design of integrated system solutions, and work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to uplift digital capabilities and streamline service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the ServiceNow platform

Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions

Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, policies, and best practices

Provide technical leadership across ITSM, ITOM, and HR modules

Conduct platform audits and deliver optimisation recommendations

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet delivery goals

Translate business needs into scalable and maintainable ServiceNow designs

Create and maintain detailed architectural and design documentation

Mentor developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect on mission-critical platforms

Deep knowledge of ServiceNow application design, development, and integrations

Strong understanding of ITIL processes and practical experience across ITSM, ITOM, and HR modules

Exposure to Microsoft technologies including Office 365, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps

Ability to produce technical documentation and facilitate between technical and business stakeholders

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CAD) and TOGAF certification are highly regarded

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and architecture tools (e.g., Archimate)
