We're looking for a qualified Baker or Pastry Chef to join our team at Heatherbrae!

Key Points:

Location: Heatherbrae - Newcastle & Hunter Region, NSW

Full-Time: 5 days a week, with some weekend work required (salary will factor in weekend availability)

Roster: Industry-best shift start times, fixed roster with 2 consecutive days off

Do you have?

Qualifications (Cert III) or trade experience equivalent in a fast-paced retail bakery

While experience with pies isn't necessary, a flexible & adaptive hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and develop your skills is a must

The ability to thrive in a team environment, working with a range of ages and experience levels in a respectful and mature manner

Experience in a high volume production environment with standards focused on quality

A flexible and willing attitude, with clear communication and a hands-on approach

Pride in personal presentation and product presentation, as well as an eye for detail

Your responsibilities:

Prepare quality products following company recipes & yield guidelines according to set standards

Adhere to procedures, policies and high standards at all times.

Support and assist with the professional development of apprentices.

Maintain a safe work environment in relation to OHS/WHS and food safety & hygiene.
