We have positions available for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. In this role you will work with experienced health professionals, expert leaders within the workplace mental health and occupational rehabilitation industry and a company that supports and rewards your development.

The Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will be responsible for the delivery of services to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for clients and client organisations. The roles and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

Rehabilitation Counselling and Case Management of clients with a broad range of injuries and illnesses (primarily mental health) to facilitate their return to work and health.

Comprehensive capacity assessments including Initial assessments and Vocational Assessments and reporting in a clear and succinct manner.

Identifying Return to Work barriers and developing tailored rehabilitation programs to facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work.

Liaising and coordinating with various stakeholders, providing viable solutions and recommendations for clients.

Vocational counselling.

Development of customer relationships through excellent service and business development.

Report writing and documentation of case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements.

Delivery of a range of workplace wellbeing support and coaching services.

Working with a case portfolio in WorkSafe Victoria, Comcare, DVA rehab, and early intervention with various organisations.

The Person

You will possess the ability to work with clients and providers at all levels and translate client needs into high level professional operational service delivery. In addition, you will have the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and be willing to contribute to the development of the team.

Essential Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Allied Health or Rehabilitation Counselling.

Must hold registration with either AHPRA, ASORC or RCAA.

A passion for health and wellbeing, injury prevention and assisting people recover or return to work with a high level of commitment to ensure cases are managed at a level that consistently meets/exceeds customer expectations.

The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.

Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and report writing skills.

Strong stakeholder relationship building experience and skills.

A current Australian driver's licence.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to manage and maintain the quality of their work whilst working and completing competing priorities.
