About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Perfect Start Capalaba. This full-time role will be based in Capalaba, QLD 4157 and will play a vital part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Observe, document and assess children's progress, development and learning
• Build warm, responsive relationships with children and their families
• Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and nurturing learning environment
• Maintain a safe, well-organised and stimulating classroom
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our early childhood program
• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
• Current teacher registration in Queensland
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development and pedagogy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated experience in creating inclusive, play-based learning environments
• Passion for helping young children reach their full potential
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
