About us

Jacaranda Early Education is a beautiful purposely built childcare service, privately owned and located in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast.

We engage in ethical practice by implementing intentional leadership responsibilities in positive, purposeful ways with respect, care, and compassion. We collaborate with team members and families to achieve shared goals that benefit children's learning, development, and well-being.

In line with our philosophy, we are looking for candidates who strongly believe in relationships with families and can provide each child with an environment rich in learning and a sense of identity.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, fully qualified, or working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood, Full-Time (or part-time) Early Childhood Teacher to join our harmonious team and deliver a high-quality Queensland Government-Approved Kindergarten Program with a strong understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG).

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum 1-year experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
• An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Degree
• A genuine passion for children and shaping future generations
• An understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and National Quality Framework, which includes government regulations, the National Quality Standard, and the Early Years Learning Framework
• A passion for developing, planning, and implementing an innovative kindergarten educational program with a commitment to inclusive early childhood practice and social justice
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, and high digital fluency
• Current Approved Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s (ACECQA Approved)
• Strong knowledge of the transition from early childhood to early primary years.
• Experience with networking in local school communities offers families familiarity prior to transitioning.
