A Goodyear Autocare workshop is looking for an experienced Auto Mechanic to join their team.

Qualifications & experience

Hold relevant & valid qualifications as required – Minimum Certificate III in Automotive (Light Vehicle) or Relevant Experience.

Prior experience working as a light vehicle mechanic.

Have a minimum of 1-2 of years post apprenticeship experience preferred.

Hold a current valid Australian driver’s license.

Have a high attention to detail & high accuracy level.

You will be required to manage the shop at times and accommodate customers with bookings.

Tasks & responsibilities

High quality log book service and repairs on all makes and models of cars and 4WD’s.

Capable to complete suspensions jobs.

Check/measure all types of brakes & rotos and change it.

Use the diagnostic tools and diag. electric jobs.

Recognize and report obviously worn or potentially dangerous components of customer vehicles.

Have excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the business and other activities that serve the team and business as required.
