JSG Agency is a full-service creative agency specialising in branding, content, digital, events and experiential campaigns across industries and borders. We’re on the hunt for a visionary Design Director to lead our creative output and shape standout work across brand, digital, and spatial experiences.

This is a full-time role based out of our Rose Bay office.

As our Design Director, you’ll bring big-picture thinking and detail-obsessed execution to everything from campaigns and content to websites and activations. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team, guide creative strategy, and oversee high-impact design work from concept to launch.

What you’ll be doing:
– Lead the creative direction for branding, digital, campaigns, packaging, and experiential projects
– Oversee design execution across platforms (UX/UI, AR/3D, video, events, socials)
– Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
– Direct, mentor and inspire our internal design team and freelancers
– Present and refine concepts with clients and stakeholders
– Collaborate across strategy, content, production, and marketing
– Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all design outputs
– Keep JSG at the forefront of tools, tech, and trends (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Blender, etc.)

Who you are:
– A senior design leader with 10+ years of experience across branding, digital and experiential
– Exceptional creative and strategic thinker
– Skilled in leading teams and managing complex projects
– Confident presenting to clients and navigating feedback
– Fluent in Adobe CC, Figma, and emerging design tech
– A strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
