About Us
Flying Start Preschool & OSHC is a family-owned service located on the grounds of St Anthony’s Primary School in Kingscliff. We pride ourselves on offering a unique blend of early childhood education and school-aged care. Our OSHC program supports both St Anthony’s Primary students and Flying Start Preschoolers, providing continuity of care in a familiar, nurturing environment.

About the Role
We are currently seeking Casual or Permanent Part-Time OSHC Educators / Activity Leaders to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading engaging daily activities that promote fun, learning, and well-being. Your focus will be on creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable space where children feel supported and excited to participate.

Operating Hours
We offer a variety of shifts across our three OSHC programs. Availability across all of them is not a requirement.

During NSW School Terms (Monday to Friday):

Before School Care: 7:00am – 9:00am

After School Care: 2:45pm – 5:00pm or 6:00pm

During NSW School Holidays & Pupil-Free Days (Monday to Friday):

Vacation Care: Flexible shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm (4–7 hours per day)

What we're looking for:

A genuine passion for working with children in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Experience in an OSHC, early childhood, school or similar educational setting (desirable

but not essential).

Ability to plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities aligned with children's interests and developmental needs.

Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.

A team player with a proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willingness to obtain).

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Relevant qualifications in Children’s Services, Education Support, or studying towards (desirable but not essential).
