Salary $115,010 to $121,427 + Superannuation + Income Protection

About the Role
The position of Property Projects Manager is responsible for the oversight of Council owned property and co-ordination and delivery of property projects, including planning and delivery of the renewal and upgrade of existing and new buildings and facilities, in accordance with the Building Asset Management Plan and approval Annual Business Plans.
Key Focus Areas
Manage and maintain Council’s building asset data and Asset Management Plan
Supporting the successful delivery of Council’s Building Asset Management Plan by managing the planning and implementation of property/building works projects across Council-owned property.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
Management of Projects in accordance with Council’s Project Management Framework
Undertake Procurement in accordance with Council Policies and Procedures
Manage contractors and contract documentation in accordance with Council Policy and Procedures
Provide reports to Council on the status of property assets and projects as required
About You
You will bring experience in Property and Building Construction Management.
Ideally, you will have:
A strong background in asset management systems and processes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience in the preparation of tender documentation, evaluation of tender submissions and contract administration.Experience working in a dynamic team to achieve service outcomes
Knowledge and application of relevant legislation related to the role, particularly the Local Government Act 1999, relevant Australian Standards and National Construction Code
