Superior Building Solutions is a premier building company based in Lake Macquarie specializing in high end residential building in Newcastle & Lake Macquarie, along with multi residential projects spanning across NSW, and seeking an experienced project manager to join the team. This position is best suited to someone who is motivated, keen to learn & develop within their role and able to work unsupervised.

What we expect from you:

· Ability to demonstrate ownership, transparency & client focus

· Ability to project plan, schedule & cost control / budget / risk reporting

· Ability to engage and manage consultants, along with contractors & suppliers

· Ability to manage / assign procurement, head contractor EOI, tender and award

· Ability to manage project scope & quality in collaboration with the Project Supervisor

· Ability to manage authority and utility requirements including approvals

· Ability to manage time & meeting of deadlines

· Ability to manage reports & necessary documentation

· Ability to negotiate contract outcomes with contractors and clients

· Have very strong understanding of construction (Australian Standards & NCC)

· Be a natural problem solver (with a solution-based focus) and lateral thinker, with excellent

decision-making skills

· Have excellent computer skills

Essential:

· Reside full time in either the Newcastle or Lake Macquarie

· Have a min of 10 years’ project management experience in multi residential projects

· Have a degree qualification in either Project Management / Building & Construction

· Have a certificate 3 in carpentry & joinery

· Driver’s license and own transport

· Laptop, tablet and/or own PC, Wi-Fi

· Have strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Managed project teams from conceptual to handover stage
