Waves Byron Bay is seeking an experienced guest service agent to join our friendly and hardworking team for a small family owned hotel operation.

Working closely with our Front Office Manager, we are looking for someone that will bring passion and enthusiasm to the role, and display high levels of customer service that we as a small family run business pride ourselves on.

This role, for the right candidate offers a minimum of 30 hours per week (up to 38 hours available) including both weekday and weekend shifts. Our Office hours are 7am to 7pm daily.

The role details:

- this is a long term position so not suited to work holiday visas/holiday travellers

- excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail

- prior experience in front office hotel reception required

- ability to work in a team as well as the ability to take initiative and work pro-actively and independently

- prior experience in Property Management Software eg. Opera, Siteminder advantageous but not essential (or similar
