Terrigal Sails is a 4 star hotel in the heart of Terrigal, seeking a proactive and passionate Guest Services agent with Social media marketing skills to join our dynamic team. This casual role allows you to gain exposure to all operational aspects of the hotel as well as the ability to apply creative and forward thinking skills in an effort to build and maintain our online presence through social media and marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities: Guest Services

Provide an exceptional guest welcome experience by upholding service excellence and ensuring reception operations run smoothly.

Foster professional, clear, and honest communication to assist guests and manage accurate bookings.

Ensure all daily tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Address and resolve guest concerns in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.

Use of Property Management Software - RMS (Previous experience desirable however training can be provided for the right applicant)

Maintain accurate guest accounts and contribute to daily reporting processes

Checking-in/Check-out guests and settling accounts for departures.

Completing necessary reconciliation and reports.

Effective use of rate management software

Key Responsibilities Include: Social media marketing

As our Social Media & Content creator, you’ll be responsible for creating, scheduling, and publishing content across our digital platforms. Your storytelling skills will help us build brand awareness, grow our audience, and drive customer engagement.

Manage and publish visually compelling content on all social platforms including but not limited to; Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and such other social platforms on trend

Plan and manage content calendars in alignment with marketing campaigns and brand objectives, ensuring consistency in visual and written content. Execute the social media annual calendar, ensuring timely and strategic content delivery

Manage end-to-end eDM campaigns, monitoring campaign performance and provide regular reporting and insights. Recommend updates to improve SEO and user engagement based on campaign analysis

Collaborate with photographers, and external partners to maintain consistent brand voice and style

What We’re Looking For:

Exceptional Customer service skills

Previous experience using RMS is desirable

Strong attention to detail, ensuring procedures are followed

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

2 years+ experience in content creation and social media management

Strong storytelling skills and an eye for aesthetics

Strong skills in photography, video production and editing

Familiarity with data analysis tools and social media metrics

Understanding of SEO and content optimisation best practices

The flexibility to work a rotating roster - This is a hospitality role and does include weekend work.
