My client is a Government Agency currently going through an enterprise wide digital transformation across multiple sites. As a result they are looking to secure an accomplished Change Manager to sit across and manage both ICT and Organisational Change for an inital 12 month period.

The role will be tasked with leading the operational readiness and change management efforts for the successful implementation of several key change initiatives that form part of the program of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Readiness Planning:
  • Develop and execute an operational readiness strategy aligned with program launch timeline.
  • Coordinate with facilities, IT, HR, and business units to ensure all operational elements are in place.
  • Change Management:
  • Apply structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) to support adoption of new processes, systems, and environments.
  • Conduct impact assessments and change readiness evaluations.
  • Identify and manage resistance and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Identify key stakeholders and develop engagement plans.
  • Facilitate workshops, briefings, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Training & Communication:
  • Develop and deliver communication plans to inform and prepare staff.
  • Collaborate with training teams to ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for the new environment.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track change adoption, readiness metrics, and operational preparedness.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in change management, ideally in large-scale infrastructure, IT or facilities projects.
  • Strong understanding of operational readiness principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with change management tools and methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG).
  • Experience in healthcare, education, or public infrastructure projects.
  • Background in project management or operations.
