We are seeking a skilled and reliable Full-Time Carpenter to join our team at Trendscapes Constructions. We complete a wide variety of work ranging from earthmoving and formwork right through to fix outs and final fits. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all aspects of carpentry, possess their own tools, and have reliable transport. You must be able to work autonomously, manage your own time, and provide high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to deadlines and safety standards. Please note - no VISAs will be accepted for this role.

Job Location: Gold Coast and Brisbane

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, cabinetry, and finishing work.

Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

Install and repair windows, doors, and other structures.

Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

Work independently with minimal supervision, managing your own time effectively.

Communicate with project managers or clients to discuss project progress, timelines, and potential issues.

Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 2 years).

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.

Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.

Must own a full set of carpentry tools and have reliable transport to and from job sites.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Good communication skills and professional demeanor.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
