Since our founding in 2007, we’ve grown into a leading name in construction and concrete remediation across Southeast Queensland.

At BSB, our business is built around two dynamic teams: the Building Team and the Concrete Remediation Team. While this role is primarily within the Building Team as a carpenter, you’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your skillset by gaining hands-on experience with our remediation specialists. This includes learning advanced techniques such as carbon fibre strengthening, crack injection, and spalling repairs. Our Concrete Remediation Team works on some of Brisbane’s most iconic infrastructure including the Gateway Bridge, Clem 7, and Airport Link tunnels – giving you exposure to high-profile, technically rewarding work that most tradespeople rarely encounter.

Thanks to consistent growth – including tripling our turnover in the last three years – we’re looking for talented and motivated carpenters to join us as we continue to expand. Our projects are diverse, our clients are respected (including Ampol, Brisbane City Council, QBuild, Transurban, and Logan City Council), and our future is bright.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Carpenter who thrives on variety, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll work across a range of tasks – from general carpentry and maintenance to new work, renovations, fencing, minor concreting, and even landscaping.

You’ll be reporting to our experienced Site Supervisors and Project Manager, with responsibilities including:

Working closely with site leadership to deliver each project

Calculating materials and coordinating orders

Delivering quality work on time, every time

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualified – Certificate III in Carpentry

Valid Construction White Card

QLD Driver’s Licence

Reliable own transport and tools

Motivated, energetic, and eager to grow

Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship

Broad carpentry skills and confidence to tackle a variety of tasks

Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
