We are partnering with this leading Australian Industry Superfund in the recruitment of a Senior Compliance Manager to help with and directly manage key compliance remediation initiatives across the organisation.

It is a five month contract role (approx) reporting into the Head of Compliance that will focus on investigating and remediating matters relating to incidents, issues, breaches and complaints that have arisen (or may arise) during a key period of transitional change for the fund.

Key focus areas will include:

• Engage with internal stakeholders and undertake comprehensive business analysis to gain a thorough understanding of root cause relating to the matter.
• Identify any potential control gaps/failures that may have contributed to the issue.
• Utilise critical problem solving techniques to independently work through these issues and remediate through to completion/rectification. This includes control uplift and development.
• Compliance reporting as appropriate.

Success in this role requires a deep understanding of superannuation operations together with experience in compliance, risk & controls focusing on end to end issue identification and resolution. Experience in complaints or investigations would be advantageous but most importantly will be your ability to engage, advise and problem solve in this hands on role.

You are experienced, driven and outcome oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills and a strong client partnering focus. Furthermore, your ability to build strong working relationships with senior business stakeholders will be a major contributor to your success.
