You will take a leadership position that is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organisation as well as providing coaching and guidance to the entire team. In addition, you will be a key liaison to clients and government bodies / departments.

Your duties are broad and this is a role that offers a lot of variety:

• Preparation and presentation of grant applications and acquittals
• Implementation of continuous improvement frameworks
• Ensure strong budget management and forecasting
• Conduct detailed analysis on business performance
• Oversight of AP / AR
• Guarantee compliance with funding objectives and relevant legislation
• Balance sheet and P&L management
• Develop long term financial strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Establish a deep understanding of social policy issues
• Partner with leaders to report on financial and operational issues
• Provide additional support when required to daily financial deliverables
• Manage daily operations

What you'll bring:

You will be a fully qualified accountant with skills across general management within NFP or similar organisations. You will ideally have knowledge of grants and funding.

In addition, you will understand the sensitivities when dealing with a community that relies on your business to provide them with essential services and have experience of working with committees.
