Ngoonbi is recruiting a Full-Time (38hrs) Finance Manager to be part of a dynamic team delivering financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for financial risk management. The successful candidate will possess a Post graduate formal qualification, or lesser formal qualifications with extensive and diverse work experience in a similar role;

We are looking for an individual who;

Can manage all finance and accounting operations, including grant management reporting and acquittals;

Demonstrates 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

Can develop and maintain professional, productive relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, financial institutions, government bodies, regulatory authorities and funding bodies, ensuring the organisation maintains a professional reputation within this sector;

Manage, monitor and report on Ngoonbi’s compliance with all statutory, funding, grant, contractual and legislative obligations regarding finances ensuring all emergent issues or areas of concern are reported to the CEO immediately;

Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition;

Has great leadership skills;

Has great communication skills;

Holds a current open automatic or manual drivers’ licence;

Holds a current Blue Card (working with children) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Card (working with aged / disabilities);

Is knowledgeable of Cultural issues and able to engage in a diverse cultural setting.
