Who are we?

Established in 2019, Gravity Resources is a dynamic, versatile and results-driven consultancy that provides Technical Resourcing, Labour Hire, Shutdown Crews and Engineering Support to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Renewables sectors. We specialise in providing project teams to support programs of work or to deliver specific scopes of work. We also offer secondment of individual personnel for projects, to fill long-term project requirements, or to provide our customers with additional support in times of peak demand.

Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for an experienced Operations & Payroll Coordinator to complement our high-performing team. This position can be offered on a casual or part-time basis and will report directly to our General Manager.

Responsibilities:

Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll, general bookkeeping duties, preparing and issuing invoices and responding to general payroll enquiries.

Onboarding and Offboarding of all employees, including organising pre-employment medicals, ordering PPE, booking travel and accommodation where applicable.

Maintaining employee records, ensuring qualifications, rights to work and internal database is kept up to date.

Supporting the resourcing team with day-to-day administrative tasks including issuing employment contracts, resume formatting, advertising, database searches, phone screens and reference checking.

Ordering stock and maintaining stock and asset registers

Development of general marketing templates, documents and other ad hoc administration duties.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Experienced in payroll and HR administration

Experience with payroll systems including Xero (preferable) and intermediate to advance Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Problem solving ability, with strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills and a dedication to quality.
