We are an electrical company with our office/workshop based in Yatala, and we are looking for an administrator to join our positive and friendly team on a full time basis (5 days a week).

As our administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our business runs effectively and efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for all day-to-day administrative duties and be able to and willing to help the rest of the team with other tasks.

Hours: 38 hours/week.

Potential Responsibilities:

As the administrator, you will have a variety of responsibilities that ensure our business runs smoothly, these include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily management of the office & team
  • Undertake all designated administrative duties (i.e., attending to calls, emails, & requests, processing orders, document preparation, invoicing/receipting, data entry, managing service calls, scheduling jobs, ordering supplies, photocopying, filing, etc.)
  • Daily use of our software system, Simpro
  • Handling office interactions with employees, clients, & other visitors (i.e., greeting & directing, answering phone inquiries, conflict management, & handling requests/complaints in a professional manner)
  • Arranging/scheduling appointments/meetings, travel arrangements, vehicle servicing etc.
  • Monitoring stock & re-stocking the kitchen, office, & bathroom supplies regularly
  • Frequent checking of the PO box & front mailbox
  • Managing/filling in WH&S documentation (creating, updating, & implementing to meet instructed requirements)
  • Assisting with human resources
  • Various other tasks that provide administration support to the Managing Director, Project Manager, Office Manager, and employees.

  • Reliable and hard-working
  • Customer service experience preferred; excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well in a team, as well as, independently
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience using Simpro, or similar software is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft (i.e., outlook, excel, word, etc.)
  • Good computer and technical skills

Experience in similar roles would be great, but for the right applicant, it could be an entry level role, if they are willing and able to learn and work hard.
