About the role

Merivale Farms' is seeking a full-time Farm Hand / Truck Driver to join our dedicated team in Bell, QLD. As part of our farming operations, you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks on our property as well as driving our truck. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced agricultural environment.

What you'll be doing

Carrying out general farm duties such as tending to cattle, operating farm machinery, and maintaining the property

Driving our truck to transport goods, equipment, and livestock as needed

Assisting with loading and unloading trucks

Ensuring all vehicles and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

Collaborating with the wider team to support the efficient running of the farm

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a farm hand or in a similar agricultural role

Valid driver's licence and experience driving trucks or other heavy vehicles

Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Adaptability and the willingness to take on a variety of tasks
