12 month fixed term contract

About the Role:

This boutique financial services business has been a part of the landscape for decades across Southeast Queensland. The business has gone through an impressive transformation and as a result, are looking for someone who take on the day-to-day transactional tasks along with supporting the Senior Accountant with a broad range of month-end duties.

Duties include:

· Assistance with monthly management and statutory reports for the group and related corporate entities

· Reconciliations – bank and other accounts

· Taxation returns assistance – BAS, IAS, FBT and payroll tax

· Weekly processing of payments to suppliers in accordance with terms

· Assistance with fortnightly payroll

· Ad hoc project work

About You:

To be successful, you will be degree qualified (potentially studying) have some commercial experience gained in either chartered accounting firms, or in a businesses. You will be a positive and engaged team member with a great attitude, good attention to detail, exposure to Xero highly desirable along with payroll experience.
