Your Opportunity:

You'll get excellent support and learning from an experienced Finance Manager in a business that recognises the need for work/life balance. Based in the CBD you will be able to have 3-days WFH post probation with Tuesday and Thursday being your mandated days in the office.

Whilst you'll remain hands-on, this position will provide you with valuable career development as you will be managing two colleagues that work across Payroll and AP, and you'll work in a Finance team of seven. If you haven't managed previously this is not a deal breaker however you must be able to demonstrate your ability to learn these skills.

As mentioned, you'll manage a team of two whilst taking on a variety of responsibilities:

• Management of Payroll and Accounts Payable.
• Oversight of preparation of superannuation documentation
• Month-end processes
• Completion of all year-end payroll compliance activities
• Preparation of payroll tax documentation and continuation of records.
• Preparation of workers compensation and maintenance of records.
• Preparation of BAS and IAS
• Perform reconciliation of Annual Leave and Long Service Leave
• Bank and credit card reconciliation as well as GL accounts.
• General bookkeeping duties.

Who You Are:

You're an articulate individual with existing commercial experience, capable of learning how to manage a small team if it is not something you have done so already. You will have previous exposure to Payroll & AP given you will be supervising this area.

You'll be a fully qualified accountant, or close to completion, with strong Excel skills.

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (with intention to complete)
• Confident with Excel
• Clear and articulate communication style
• Commercial experience with EOM process
• Deadline driven with strong attention to detail
