The Role:

We are looking for an experienced dealership accounting professional to join our team. You will need to be a sharp thinker who is able to juggle multiple priorities and have sound analytical and interpretation skills.

Key responsibilities of the role include,

• Liaise with Auditors (internal and external, Australian Taxation Office.)
• Preparing month-end and year-end/audit procedures & analysis
• Preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis
• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparation of key accounts for budgets and forecasting including variance analysis
• Monthly BAS preparation & Annual FBT preparation
• Maintain the fixed assets register
• Process inter-company transactions
• Identifying opportunities to implement best practice standard operating procedures

Selection Criteria

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualified is desirable
• 3 years accounting experience in a similar role
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally & effectively and is a collaborative team player;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Professional, polished presentation
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Experience working within dealership space is highly regarded.
