Position Title: Warehouse Assistant

Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Location: Frenchs Forest, Sydney

Position Summary

NEXTGEN is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to support day-to-day operations within our Frenchs Forest warehouse.

This hands-on role plays a vital part in ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and dispatch of high-value technology equipment and accessories.

You’ll be a key contributor to the efficiency and quality of our supply chain, working closely with the Warehouse Manager and broader Operations team to maintain smooth and safe workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys structured tasks, and brings pride to precision and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, and verify incoming stock against delivery documentation

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in line with service level expectations

Maintain an organised and clean warehouse environment, ensuring stock is stored securely and safely

Update and maintain accurate inventory records in our ERP and warehouse management systems

Assist with regular stocktakes and inventory audits as directed by the Warehouse Manager

Adhere to all workplace health & safety standards, manual handling protocols, and company policies

Support dispatch operations, including logistics paperwork and carrier handovers

Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment and techniques

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Technical and Finance teams to support timely customer delivery

Promptly report any stock discrepancies, damages, or logistics delays

Skills & Experience

1–2 years’ experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment

Working knowledge of inventory systems, barcode scanning, and ERP platforms preferred

Clear communicator with strong teamwork and time management skills

Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and task completion

Physically fit and capable of lifting, moving, and handling goods as needed

Forklift licence and sound understanding of WHS standards (or willingness to obtain)
