About the role

Newline Transport is a family owned and operated company seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator and Warehouse Assistant to join our team on the afternoon shift 2pm - 10pm with overtime when required. This is a full-time role based in our warehouse facility in Wetherill Park, NSW. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely loading and unloading trucks and assisting with a variety of warehouse operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate forklifts to load and unload rigids and semi trailers and move inventory within the warehouse

Assist with receiving, storing, and picking of stock items

Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch

Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment

Support the wider warehouse team in completing daily tasks

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with workplace health and safety standards

What we're looking for

Valid forklift licence and prior experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Good communication and teamwork skills

Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items

Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred

Experience moving heavy vehicles around the yard
