About the role

Netstar Australia is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team at our Macquarie Park facility. In this full-time role, you will be supporting the Fulfillment & Procurement Manager in the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. What you'll be doing

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments and returned items. (RA’S)
• Assist with stock organization and storage to maximize warehouse space.
• Conduct regular stock counts and update inventory records accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to customer requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to facilitate efficient transportation of goods.
• Organise transfer of good between fulfilment centres
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and occupational health and safety standards.
• Report damaged goods or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to improve skills and efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience; or someone studying/planning to study a TAFE relevant course; or someone with appropriate life experience (ie a retiree looking to re-enter the workforce).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• An interest in/positive disposition to electronics.
