The Role

As our Fleet Allocator, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our logistics team — ensuring drivers are where they need to be, routes are optimised, and customers are satisfied. In a business where timing is everything, your work will directly impact our performance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

· • Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers efficiently across Brisbane and surrounding areas

· • Monitor fleet movements and adapt quickly to changes or delays

· • Communicate clearly with drivers, operations teams, and clients

· • Maximise daily productivity while maintaining safety and compliance standards

· • Use logistics systems to track, allocate and report on fleet performance

· • Provide outstanding customer service in a small, busy office environment

· • Work collaboratively in a growing team managing an expanding fleet

· • Support general administrative duties using the Microsoft Office suite

· • Learn and adapt to our internal software package quickly

What You Bring

· • Proven experience in fleet allocation, transport coordination, or dispatch (waste industry a bonus!)

· • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions on the fly

· • High attention to detail and comfort working under pressure

· • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word essential)

· • Ability to learn and navigate new software confidently

· • A mechanical or maintenance background is a plus, but not essential
