The iconic and world-famous Hunter Valley Gardens is looking for a Commis Chef to work across its Hunter Valley Gardens Business and Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens outlets to work in our Garden Terrace Café, Event Trailer, elements Restaurant and Banquet areas. Hunter Valley Gardens is a unique display garden located in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country and hosts a number of key events over the course of the year including Christmas Lights Spectacular, Snow Time in the Gardens, Mega Creatures/Mega Creatures Night Safari and concerts coupled with a conference and restaurant precinct at Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens, it provides a unique opportunity for diversity unlike any other.

Applicants must enjoy learning and working in a fast-paced environment as part of a highly motivated kitchen team.

Available 7 days a week, operations are day and night.

Previous experience required.

Duties include:

Food preparation

Food handling

Follow health and safety protocols

Stock management

Cooking a variety of dishes

Providing excellent customer service
