Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.

Presentation and Plating: Artfully plate dishes to enhance visual appeal, adhering to the café’s aesthetic guidelines and elevating the overall dining experience.

Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to innovate and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and contemporary culinary trends.

Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation, conducting regular tastings and assessments.

Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment, complying with all health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and communicating supply needs to the kitchen management team.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a cook in an upscale dining establishment or similar environment.
