The Role
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, including the ART XR2000 Router and WARDJet Water Cutter, to produce high-quality components for the VIC Ceilings business unit. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machinery
• Review schedules, paperwork, materials, and cut files before starting jobs
• Ensure quality, quantity, and colour of materials meet specifications
• Maintain machines including bed, blades, calibration, and cleaning
• Operate Aluminium Extrusion Saw as needed
• Plan ahead for upcoming jobs and complete all required paperwork
• Report machine breakdowns and delays promptly

Skills & Experince:

• Experience operating CNC Routers
• Experience with file/linework manipulation on machines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work on feet all day and handle bulky items
• High energy levels and a positive, friendly attitude
