DAY SHIFT: 7am - 3.30pm Mon -Thurs & 7am - 1pm Fri [early Fridays]

AssasCo (our Steel Fabrication division) at Assemco is looking for an experienced CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator for full time position, working day shift 7am - 3.30pm Mon-Thurs and 7am - 1pm Fri. Primary industries include automotive, commercial, and industrial fabrication. The role on offer is suited to an all-rounder with the ability to interpret working drawings and execute fabrication tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting to Product Development Manager, responsibilities include:

Responsible for all CNC laser cutting production

Running 4KW Yawei 3000x1000 laser

Experience programming and operating CNC brake press (Durma and/or Yawei desired)

Material handling with 3T forklift and OH crane

Pick & pack both internal and external orders

Maintain expected daily production output quantities

Specialist knowledge, competencies, and skills:

Experience operating a CNC laser cutting machine (5yrs minimum)

Knowledge of 4KW Yawei 3000x 1000 laser

Knowledge of Brake Press programming (Durma and/or Yawei desired)

Valid Australian Forklift licence (FL) (required)

Able to self motivate
