This role is central to the production of high-quality equipment and combines advanced CNC operation with hands-on rope and component fabrication.

About the Role:
As part of the manufacturing team, you’ll be responsible for producing plastic components using CNC routers and assisting in the preparation and assembly of rope-based elements. From cutting HDPE sheets and nesting shapes, to assembling complex rope components, this is a multi-faceted role for someone who enjoys working across materials and tasks.

Key Responsibilities:CNC Router Operation (Plastics Department)

• Program, set up, and operate CNC routers for HDPE, aluminium, and similar materials
• Nest parts for optimal material usage and minimise waste
• Load/unload sheet materials and maintain cutter tooling
• Finish routed components with edge trimming, hole cleaning, and sorting
• Track production output to meet project timelines
• Maintain workspace and assist with waste extraction and tooling care

Ropework & Component Fabrication

• Cut, assemble, and finish wire-cored rope for nets and structural components
• Read and interpret technical drawings for accurate part fabrication
• Drill, linish, and prepare rope, plastic, steel, and fibreglass components
• Conduct quality checks and ensure parts are despatch-ready
• Coordinate batch manufacturing of rope components and maintain stock levels

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience operating CNC routers, especially in plastics (HDPE preferred)
• Skilled in ropework or wire rope component assembly
• Proficient with hand/power tools and interpreting technical drawings
• Basic computer skills (CNC software & Excel)
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and reliable time management
• Forklift license (preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must have a drivers license
• Must have FULL working rights
