THE ROLE

At St Clair Recreation Centre, we are dedicated to promoting health and wellness within our community. Our state-of-the-art facilities and diverse programs offer a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages and fitness levels. We are seeking Customer Care Officers, Café/Kiosk Attendants and Program Assistants to join us at our centre in Woodville South.

Customer Care Officer: Customer Care Officers are the face of our organisation, responsible for ensuring all members and guests receive the highest possible level of service. You will be the first and main point of contact for all Centre members and guests. You will be responsible for cash handling and POS, telephone operation, program information, enrolment sales and enquiries. Your exceptional customer service skills will be challenged through the need to multi-task and problem solve, while always ensuring a positive customer experience.

Café/Kiosk Attendant: The Café/Kiosk Attendant will ensure all members and guests receive the highest possible level of service. This position operates from the café and bar areas and requires a knowledge and understanding of food handling skills, nutritional values, responsible service of Alcohol and customer service. The Café/Kiosk Attendant is responsible for cash handling, food preparation and service, responsible service of alcohol, cleaning and occupational health and safety of customers. The Café/Kiosk Attendant will possess excellent customer service skills and enjoy working in a service-orientated role.

Programs Assistant: A Program Assistant will contribute positively to YMCA South Australia through assisting with the scheduling and delivery of our programs and assist in achieving customer satisfaction by providing an enjoyable experience for all participants.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

Customer Care Officers:

HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent

Café/Kiosk Attendant:

Food Handling Certificate

HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or equivalent

Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (desirable)

Programs Assistant:

Experience in customer service

Experience in working with children and young adults in a sporting environment

Excellent interpersonal skills
