Assist in building the teaching and research profile in Audiology with the Faculty of Health at CDU.
About the Position
As a Lecturer in Audiology, you will be responsible for making a significant contribution in both the research and teaching aspect of the role and foster excellence and original contributions, which expand knowledge and practice.
The Lecturer in Audiology will contribute to the Audiology (and related) programs across the Faculty, including the development of new and innovative programs/units. This position will be involved in the development and teaching units, utilising both on-campus and flexible-mode of teaching, and learning support, and to engage in scholarly work that informs teaching and learning in diverse educational contexts. The post will offer scholarship, leadership and research within their discipline leading to improved student experience and outcomes.
The Lecturer in Audiology will develop and disseminate a stream of appropriate research relevant to their area of interest.
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Possession of a Master of Clinical Audiology or equivalent and holding current clinical registration with either Audiology Australia or the Australian College of Audiology.
- Post-graduate qualification in a related field with extensive relevant experience.
- Extensive Clinical Experience in Audiology with a contribution to the growth of the profession in the region, with a willingness to embrace the knowledge, skills and ideals of practice in rural and remote areas.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the development of appropriate courses, units and programs for in person, hybrid and on-line delivery.
- Demonstrated a commitment to the University values, supporting the University's commitment to the principles of reconciliation, which exemplify respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage and the valuing of justice and equity for all Australians
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Research Focused Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $112,710 - $133,262 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $131,870 - $155,916 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
