Residential Draftsperson / Estimator $80K–$110K | Flexible Role

About Us

We are a small, hands-on residential building company based in Berwick.
We design and build custom homes, renovations, extensions, and boutique developments—all in-house.
We’re looking for a capable and practical Draftsperson who wants to grow beyond design and into the real building process.

About the Role

This is a multi-skilled drafting + estimating role suited to someone who wants more involvement and growth than traditional drafting positions.

You’ll be responsible for:

Producing detailed drawings using Archicad

Drafting for new builds and extensions

Estimating materials and labour for residential projects

Supporting with scope of works, quotes, and contract documentation

Site feasibility assessments, basic interior layout and joinery design

Liaising with builders, suppliers, engineers, and building surveyors

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who:

Is proficient in Archicad

Has strong knowledge of residential building, construction methods, and NCC/Res Code

Can interpret and cost building plans (new builds and renovations)

Has common sense, attention to detail, and follows through on tasks

Is emotionally intelligent, practical, and willing to learn

Enjoys flexibility and thrives in a small-team environment
