twoDESIGN is a small Building and Interior Design company based in inner Melbourne that has established itself in the market place over the last 20 years. With an impressive portfolio and strong client base, twoDESIGN offers a range of services across the industry in most sectors

The Design Draftsperson or Graduate Architect will play a key role in the delivery, design and documentation for our residential and commercial projects which vary from small extensions to multi unit development as well as unique and varied commercial builds. They will apply their specialist documenting expertise and AutoCAD skills to prepare documentation for tender, construction, town planning and other purposes. The successful candidate will also provide project management support.
They will also prepare town planning written applications, apply for building dispensations, respond to both planning and building permit RFI responses in a timely manner.

The applicant will need to have a Diploma in Architectural Drafting or Degree in Architecture and will bring the following skill, experience and competency set to the role:

Essential

· Diploma/Degree in Architectural Design or a Degree in Architecture

· Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience in an architectural design office

· Advanced AutoCAD skills

· Residential drafting experience

· Ability to draw full town planning applications

· Ability to write written town planning applications

· Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a small team

· Excellent time management skills

· Attention to detail

· Creativity and ability to think outside the square

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Accountability and drive for results

Desirable

· Sketch up experience to model projects for massing research if needed

· Project management experience
