ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the design of innovative structures, working closely with a skilled team of engineers and drafters to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior engineers sharing your expertise to support their development and contribute to the growth of the team.

DUTIES.

• Structural design and calculations
• Conducting site inspections to determine suitability
• Training and mentoring of junior staff
• Detailed documentation, design and analysis of various elements such as reinforced concrete, steel and timber
• Monitoring budgets to ensure project costs stay within range
• Collaborate with the internal engineering and drafting teams

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in software of Inducta, SpaceGass and Structural Toolkit or similar related software
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Commercial, Education, Health and Child Care project experience
• Chartership or eligibility to apply is highly regarded
