About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and professional Structural Engineer to join our Gordon office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm on a variety of exciting projects—including retail, commercial, industrial, and low- to medium-rise developments across Australia. This full-time, entry-level position offers hands-on experience with site inspections, construction methodologies, and the chance to be mentored by our team of experienced senior engineers.

Essential Criteria

Tertiary engineering qualification from an Australian institution

Full Australian working rights

Min.1 year relevant experience

Building-related experience through internship or work placement

Understanding of relevant Australian Standards

Exposure to design project delivery and site inspections

Experience preparing Dilapidation Reports

Familiarity with supporting Senior Engineers on Bluebeam sketches for structural alterations and additions

Experience with inspections and reporting on structural defects (e.g., concrete spalling, waterproofing failures, masonry cracking)

Ability to contribute to defect reports and recommend remedial works

Proactive and positive attitude

High attention to detail

Strong communication skills and teamwork capabilities

Exposure to structural design software such as RAPT, Microstran/SpaceGass, Revit, Slope/W, HILTI, SLB, BASIX, and Wallap
