About Main Roads Western Australia:

At Main Roads, we are committed to delivering a world-class road network and creating positive, lasting impacts for WA communities. We play a critical role in overseeing the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of major roads and highways across the State. This includes managing traffic flow, ensuring road safety, and supporting infrastructure projects to improve transport efficiency.

About the role

Main Roads is seeking a proactive and experienced ICT Infrastructure Delivery Coordinator to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of ICT infrastructure services—spanning infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies—within our ICT Service Delivery section.

As we continue to evolve our business strategy, robust and scalable infrastructure is essential. We’re looking for a strong technical leader who not only brings deep expertise but also excels in building and developing high-performing teams.

You’ll play a key role in managing and supporting your team—fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding team performance, developing talent, and delivering services that align with organisational goals.

In addition to technical leadership, this role demands excellent stakeholder management. You’ll collaborate closely with internal partners, understand their unique needs, and deliver tailored solutions that support business strategy. A customer-centric mindset, strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the delivery of ICT infrastructure, networking, and cloud services

Develop and maintain standards, processes, and procedures for ICT service delivery

Design and manage capacity and availability plans for ICT infrastructure

Provide operational leadership with a strong focus on customer service and business alignment.

At Main Roads, we are committed to your professional growth. Whether you are looking to enhance your career or make an impactful change, this role offers exciting opportunities to develop your skills and drive meaningful change within a forward-thinking organisation.

What We Offer

At Main Roads, you can have a challenging, flexible and rewarding career that takes you exactly where you want to go with an organisation who supports a healthy work-life balance to help with what is important to you.

In addition to our competitive salary and 11.5% superannuation, the following initiatives/benefits may be available:

Attractive leave provisions including paid parental leave

Additional 3 days Public Service Leave per annum

Choice of a 40 or 37.5 hour working week

Flexible working hours

Training and development opportunities

Health and wellbeing focus.

Administration & Office Support

Connecting people and places....

The transport portfolio isn't just about roads, boats, plains or trains.

It's about people.

People who need to get to work, home and everywhere in between and businesses that rely on road, rail, air and sea to deliver billions of dollars in goods and services each year.

An integrated and optimised transport network will give the Western Australian Community more choice and improve the quality of our lives and our environment.

Since 2010, WA's three key transport agencies - Main Roads, Department of Transport and Public Transport Authority - have worked together to enhance the coordination of operations and develop unified policies and regulatory functions.

The agencies each have different responsibilities and together they strive to provide world-class outcomes for our customers, all West Australians and visitors to our stage, through integrated transport systems and services.
