What our nurses love about working here:
Opportunities to get ahead:
Develop broader holistic care skills across physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Further train, qualify, specialise or take on early leadership roles. With job transfers and promotions on offer, you’ll get ahead in ways that set you apart in the industry.
Managers that support you:
We’ve built a culture that has each other’s back. A community that values teamwork over ego and wellbeing over workload. You’ll find managers that back your ideas and fill in on off-days, or when staff are short.
A community to come home to:
We stand by each other, listen without judgement, and have relationships built on friendliness, respect, and support – with our customers, their families, and our team of local and international talent. No matter how far from home you are, you’ll feel like you belong.
Who we are | A community who cares
Warrigal has firmly established itself in the aged care community for over 60 years. Despite the diverse range of retirement living and aged care services we’ve built up in that time, we still have the same appetite to grow and innovate. Meaning, you’ll have the chance to move around, get promoted or explore different areas across our expanding business in Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra – if that’s what you want.
You are the difference | Create a meaningful legacy
At Warrigal, you’re not just doing care work. You’re shaping a society that respects and celebrates ageing, connects families, and frees up their time to create treasured, lasting memories. You’re creating a culture of kindness, compassion and understanding that can be passed down to future generations. Let this be your legacy.
JOIN US AND BE THE DIFFERENCE
We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people, workers of all abilities, ages and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to apply and join our community.
Are you keen? Then don’t delay applying. We review applications as we get them and will close the vacancy once we find the right person.
Got questions? You can contact [email protected] but please don’t send applications through email – we can’t accept them.
If successful, you may be asked to do a medical, National Criminal History Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check, and provide references.
