About the role

Join the passionate team at Your Nurse as a Registered Nurse in our Aged Care facility in Lithgow, NSW. In this casual role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to our elderly residents. With a focus on providing compassionate, person-centred care, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible health outcomes for our residents.

What you'll be doing

Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of residents

Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

Monitoring residents' health conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing management team

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and allied health, to provide holistic care

Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records

Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents

Supporting and mentoring Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers

What we're looking for

Current Registered Nurse registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Significant experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with residents, families and the broader care team

Proficient in medication management and clinical documentation

Commitment to providing person-centred, compassionate care

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
