4020 Consult is partnering with a key player in Queensland’s energy transformation to source an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) to support the final delivery stages of a critical clean energy project in Brisbane.

About the Role

This leadership role will focus on the commercial and stakeholder management aspects of a utility-scale battery project. With construction nearing completion, your focus will be on project close-out, commissioning, and handover.

You’ll work closely with a supportive executive and team up with talented technical specialists who will allow you to focus on the commercial and stakeholder elements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee commissioning and handover of a major BESS project

Drive stakeholder engagement across government, contractors, and suppliers

Ensure commercial and contractual obligations are met

About You

You are a confident and commercially savvy PM who thrives on complex projects and brings maturity and a considered approach to drive great outcomes.

You’ll bring:

Electrical trade/engineering background with PM qualifications

Proven delivery experience of utility-scale electrical infrastructure and/or BESS projects

Strong commercial acumen and contract management capabilities

A collaborative, safety-first mindset with a knack for stakeholder engagement

Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Excel, and scheduling software
