Love And Care Disability services was established in July 2015. Our focus at Love and Care is to support people with disabilities with a focus on enabling an individual and advocation through providing support and services that reflect the individual rather than the company.

The role (Please read carefully before applying)

We seek Disability Support Workers to work in Community Access, Daily Living, and Supported Independent Living (SIL) support who are available to work Monday to Friday and is also open to work during the weekends, as we provide up to 24/7 support to our clients. Shifts range in length from 2-hours to 10 hours. Flexibility and reliability are a must

Contribute to the daily operation of services that provide life skill development, social inclusion and vocational opportunities for people with a disability. Attending to varying levels of personal care and domestic duties under direct or routine supervision as part of a team. Maintaining thorough progress records to meet Individual goals in line with their NDIS Plan. Ensuring participants continue learning and participate in meaningful recreational, social, and cultural activities. Build respectful and professional relationships with participants, families and community members involved in disability programs.

About You

An open and creative mindset with a can-do attitude, with new and innovative ideas and willingness to learn with a collaborative team-based approach.

We seek support workers with strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders (internal and external)

Support workers with require mandatory compliance.

Certificate III in Disability Support or is committed to take it within the first 6 months upon hire

NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module

Police Check, Working with Children Check

Qualifications or experience relevant to disability support industry

Current First Aid Certificate

Current driver’s license
