About the role

Burpengary Play and Learn is seeking a talented and dedicated experienced Lead Educator to join our dynamic team in Burpengary, QLD. As a part-time role, this position will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care and education to the children in our early learning centre.

What you'll be doing

Plan, implement and evaluate engaging learning programs that cater to the developmental needs of children

Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth

Build strong relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and collaboration

Supervise and mentor junior educators, ensuring best practice in early childhood education

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements

Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 4 years' experience as a Lead Educator or in a similar role

In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Passion for creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certificates

Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Able to work between the hours of 6:15am -6:15pm

Role will be in our beautiful Senior Kindy Room (3years - 4years)
