About the role

Citipointe Childcare in Kallangur, QLD is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join their dedicated team. In this part-time role, you will play a key part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to the children in our centre. Your leadership and expertise will help guide and support our team of educators to deliver an engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with educators, children, and families to plan and implement an effective ongoing cycle of planning, documenting, and evaluation per the National Quality Framework, Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

Have knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, Emergent curriculum, current regulation and legislation

Be well informed about and are interested in children's development during their foundation years

Have strong demonstrated experience of curriculum documentation, whilst having fun and developing your emergent curriculum styles

Show enthusiasm and develop rapport with your team, while working with children, families, management & other educators

Have the ability to confidently and clearly communicate, relate and interact with children, families, management and other educators

Follow and implement our centre procedures & policies, and comply with all relevant government regulations

Be enthusiastically involved in all aspects of the running of the centre

Confidently support a room team in the documentation and physical requirements of early childhood education

Uphold our Christian ethos in every aspect of your leadership

Qualifications

Hold an Early Childhood Qualification (Diploma or equivalent)

Minimum 2 years of experience required as Lead Educator

A current Blue Card

Current Child Protection Certificate

Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
