About the role:
Project Coordination and Support
- Coordinate and support intelligence-related projects across the branch.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and risks.
- Support planning, implementation, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and operational projects.
Liaison and Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and intelligence partners.
- Represent the branch in inter-agency working groups and meetings.
- Facilitate the exchange of information and intelligence to support collaborative outcomes.
Intelligence Support and Administration
- Assist in the collection, collation, and dissemination of intelligence in line with legislative and policy frameworks.
- Ensure information management systems are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with privacy and security obligations.
Research and Analysis
- Conduct research and prepare briefings, reports, and presentations to inform operational and strategic decision-making.
- Identify emerging issues, risks, and trends relevant to the intelligence and liaison functions.
Policy and Process Development
- Contribute to the development and review of policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and capability gaps.

Your duties will include:
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships (in excess of 275 agencies) and their Memorandum of Understanding's
- Assistance with various projects across State Intelligence Division and specifically within the Unit
- Assist with management of Interdepartmental Witness Committee (ICWC) within the Unit
- Review procurement and other contracts in line with Intelligence Collection (and ongoing management of contract)
- Implement Tasking and Coordination (T&C) Processes within the Unit and manage ongoing T&C Meetings
- Assist with continuous improvement across all Portfolio's
- Project/File assistance for State Intelligence Division
About You:
- The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or classified information.
- Experience in a regulatory, law enforcement, or intelligence environment is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in preparing high-quality written material for executive and operational audiences.
Further Information:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
